I want to create a painting and a quilt that makes improvisation dance with planning. I will draw and paint a quilt, then piece a quilt together from fabric inspired by the painting. After I complete the quilting stitches on the quilt, I will return to the painting and ink the lines of stitching onto it. So the painting and quilt will play and dance together in a cycle of inspiration.
