I had been percolating an idea of applying my watercolor landscape style to fabric and then embellishing these landscapes with hand-stitching. This would require more time to experiment with the materials and process than I typically have in my everyday life. Having residency time to play with new materials and spend hours slowly stitching was ideal in beginning this new body of work. Token: Ocellated
