I did free-writing all week - words, music, guitar, and effects, while experimenting with learning how to record to tape on a Tascam Portastudio. I gave myself plenty of free time to bike and hike around the peninsula and take in nature, inviting creative ideas to flow freely

My experience was wonderful- it was great to unplug from my city life in Portland," and open my mind to new ideas. I worked out a new song, wrote a lot of new words, and explored nature. Most memorable part of the residency: I saw 4 eagles in just a few days.
