Describe your experience at the residency.: I stayed in room #4 in the lodge. It was a very Oregon January week with rain everyday and even some snow/sleet, which made the stay very cozy to stay in and make art. I took plenty of breaks for sauna or VHS time and listened to many records while painting. I used my week to give my full attention to a few projects and collaborations with other artists that have consistently been put on the "back burner" the past year when deadlines and paid work took priority. I also made a piece inspired by Sou'wester that I have dropped in the mail for you, you should get it this week.
